Normal day, let me be aware of the treasure you are. Let me learn from you, love you, bless you before you depart. Let me not pass by in quest of some rare and perfect tomorrow. Let me hold you while I may, for it may not always be so. One day I shall dig my nails into the earth, or bury my face in the pillow, or stretch myself taut, or raise my hands to the sky and want, more than all the world, your return. - Mary Jean Iron

Morning Glory

I just have to share this muffin recipe that I have been obsessed with this month. I found it thanks to one of my favorite baking blogs, Joy the Baker. These are muffins that help to get me out of bed in the morning...perfect for sitting down with a cup of coffee to read the news.

Here's the recipe: http://www.joythebaker.com/blog/2008/02/gnarley-muffins/

FYI: I substituted whole wheat flower for the flax seed meal and oat bran (because I didn't have any), and I used 1 mashed banana and 1 apple instead of 2 shredded apples.

May your morning be glorious:)
